Approach

Look first. Then paint.

A calm job starts with an honest estimate and ends with a walk-round. This is how a Roomwell room would run, from the first measurement to the last dust sheet.

  1. Measure and look

The estimate starts from your rough measurements. At the visit, each room is measured properly and every wall's condition is checked, so the written quote describes the real room rather than the sample.

  2. Protect the room

Furniture moves to the middle and is covered, floors are sheeted, and sockets, switches and edges are masked before a tin is opened.

  3. Prepare the surfaces

Small cracks and holes are filled and sanded flush. Anything bigger, such as damp or loose plaster, is talked through with you before it is priced.

  4. Two even coats, then a walk-round

Walls are rolled in two finish coats with crisp cut-in edges. Once the room is clear, you walk round it together and point out anything to touch up.

From estimate to quote05

Three steps, in plain order.

An estimate should help you plan, not commit you. Here is where each figure comes from, and where this demonstration stops.

  1. Step 1

    Indicative estimate

A sample range from your measurements, worked out line by line. Useful for planning, never a price promise.

  2. Step 2

    Site visit

Measurements and wall condition are checked in the room. Rooms the estimate cannot price are assessed here instead.

  3. Step 3

    Written quote

A fixed price for the agreed scope. In this demonstration the journey ends at a saved enquiry and its receipt.

Working in your home06

Small habits, kept every day.

Colour samples go on the wall before you decide, because paint looks different in every room's light. The homepage film shows one illustrative lavender finish.

Rooms are left usable at the end of each day, with tools packed away and walkways clear.

Nothing outside the agreed scope is started without asking first, and anything that would change the price is put in writing before work continues.
